GESHERS
Entering Grades 1 and 2
These campers just love the Yomee life! From learning cooperative team sports in the gym to adventures in Jackson Park, our Gesher campers enjoy smaller cabin groups (but still spend lots of time together)! Watching some of these campers learn to swim on their own for the first time, or shoot their first basket hoop is a true joy.
YOFI AND KADIMA
Entering Grades 3, 4 and 5
Our middle group of campers has plenty of fun swinging back and forth between being junior campers and experiencing the senior side of things. Best friends are often made by Tuesday of week 1 of camp. Our Yofi (girls) and Kadima (boys) campers experience a heightened sense of independence and learning without ever realizing they’re developing new skills.
MADRICHIM
Leadership Training Program
Entering Grades 6, 7 and 8
The Madrichim Leadership Training Program is designed for campers entering grades 6-8. LTPs will have special leadership training workshops added to their daily activities while still being campers. Our Leadership Training Coordinator will supervise LTPs in hands-on experiences such as placements with younger campers and planning and implementing programs for the entire camp to enjoy. Participants of this program become more confident, independent and better-prepared for our counsellor-in-training program and future job opportunities.
